Description
The Icon Cap 1140 is a unisex cap from AS Colour, decorated to order by Brandum at our studio on Sherrard Road in East London. Made from 100% cotton. There are 9 colours. One size fits all. Order one or order five hundred, the garment and the finish are the same.
How the 1140 takes a print
Cotton takes a stitch well, so embroidery is the obvious choice here and it wears far better than a transfer on a peak that gets handled every day. The AS Colour label tears out, so if you are building a clothing brand rather than printing staff kit, you can put your own woven label in without unpicking a seam. Worth knowing. The structured front holds the design square on a cap frame, which is why this shape embroiders better than an unstructured cap.
Front panel embroidery runs to 120 x 60mm on a structured front, less on an unstructured one. Side and back panels take small marks.

Decoration we offer on this cap
We run embroidery and heat pressed vinyl on the 1140, all in house at E7 8DN. Nothing is subcontracted, which is why short runs turn around quickly and why we can tell you before you pay whether an idea will actually work on this fabric.
Ordering
Start with one if you want to see it first. We have no minimum order, the unit price drops at 10, 25, 50 and 100, and you can mix sizes freely within a single design without losing the break. Artwork ready before midday usually goes out the same day on DTF.
