Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Company Accountant to join our team in [location]. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial health of our business, ensuring accuracy in our financial reporting and aiding strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including KPIs, detailed variance reporting, and commentary for our key revenue streams.
• Full P&L and Balance Sheet management, including responsibility and reconciliations.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and recharges.
• Manage budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Oversee working capital management and cash flow forecasting.
• Improve systems, processes, and procedures within the finance department.
• Liaise with auditors and provide necessary information for year-end audits.
• Handle other finance-related tasks as requested by the Financial Controller or Directors.

Skills & Experience Required:

• CIMA/ACCA UK Qualified.
• Minimum of 5 years of strong management accounts experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
• Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels.
• Excellent ability to manage and prioritise a high-volume workload.
• Proactive thinking with a commercial mindset for project management to tight deadlines.
• Driven, proactive, and diligent work ethic.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
